David Easton Architect specializes in handcrafted, custom designed homes in the San Francisco Bay Area. Over the past 17 years David has enjoyed working with his clients to design personal spaces that complement their unique lifestyles. This individual design approach responds directly to the client's vision and the site conditions to create a meaningful relationship between the space, its environment, and the inhabitants. David guides the architectural process from initial design conception through working drawings, and follows the project during construction of the home.
Educated with an undergraduate degree in architecture from Stanford University, David went on to receive his masters in Architecture from the University of California at Los Angeles. At UCLA he studied in the studio of Charles Moore. Moore's approach of designing with cultural relevance and playful personality, while developing a clear relationship between the client, building, and landscape are lessons in design that have continued to inform David's professional architectural practice. David has been practicing architecture professionally for the past 31 years and is licensed in the States of California and Hawaii.
